Suma Selected Wagyu is crafted from cattle with exceptional genetics, featuring over 70% Tajima content in the bulls. The Tajima bloodline, a renowned strain of the Japanese Black breed, is prized for producing beef with the highest levels of fine, evenly distributed marbling — the hallmark of superior flavor, tenderness, and juiciness.

The cattle are grain-fed for a minimum of 400 days on a carefully formulated barley-based diet, complemented with wheat and hay. This specialized feeding regime promotes optimal weight gain and enriches the beef’s flavor and texture, delivering a luxurious eating experience.

All cattle are raised under Australia’s Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) accredited program, which ensures they are managed and handled in line with the Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of animal care.
